When a hostile creature attacks a friendly creature with a melee weapon who also has this Talent, you may spend an AoO to make a ranged attack against that target, if it hits it deals no damage but gives that hostile creature a penalty equal to half of your Rank Bonus in the weapon that you used to attack on attack rolls for one round against any friendly creature with this talent. This penalty does not stack with itself.
