You target the corpse of a creature that has not been harvested or altered from its natural state outside of damage. You devour the corpse, storing its essence within you for future use. At any point, you may spend a Basic Action to absorb the essence to transform into the devoured creature, gaining their physical, innate, and supernatural abilities.
You are able to remain in this form as long as you wish; however, once you leave this form, the essence is lost and you must devour another creature before you are able to use this ability again. Only one essence may be stored at a time. Some creatures that do not have a physical form or those that the GM deems unsuitable, are not able to be used in this way.
