Each round of this Performance you create a number of musical Motes that float around you and friendly creatures equal to your Fellowship modifier + half of your Rank Bonus in the Performance skill.
You or a friendly creature may consume one of these motes as a Defensive Action consuming one of your parries or repels for the turn, to either force a hostile creature to reroll an attack against you or reroll a Save, CMD, or Defensive Action check themselves. If forcing a hostile creature to reroll an attack they get a Mind Save (DC 10 + half of your Rank Bonus in Performance + your performance Attribute modifier) to resist the effect.
When you gain the Improved Performance talent these Motes also provide a Morale bonus or penalty as appropriate to the check equal to half of your Rank Bonus in Performance.
