Once per Long Rest you are able to project your soul into the corpse of a creature that you touch as a Basic Action. Your real body becomes Helpless as you take control of the corpse, puppeting it as if it were alive.
You maintain all of your Mind- and Soul-based abilities such as skills, Spellcasting, and so on, but gain the Body abilities of the corpse in question. These Body abilities are the same as when the creature was alive but with the undead template applied as appropriate.
You are limited in what corpses you can control based on the tier of the creature in question, with any creatures higher tier than you requiring an opposed Spirit check to take control. If this check is failed you are indefinitely unable to puppet that corpse.
This ability lasts for a number of hours equal to your Highest Magic Rank Bonus and once a corpse has been puppeted it cannot be done so again. If the puppeted corpse would be killed or otherwise destroyed your soul is shunted back to your body immediately. Additionally, if your body dies, you have until the end of this ability to restore your body or die at the end of the effect.
