Statistics and Attributes

Attributes are the building blocks of your character and almost every aspect of your
character is influenced by an Attribute in some way. Many abilities call for an Attributes
modifier or mod to be used for a calculation.

Typed Bonuses

Over the course of a game, you will gain access to various numerical bonuses to stats,
Attributes, skills, and the like. These bonuses may be from many different sources and
typically stack with each other, however bonuses from the same source do not stack
unless otherwise noted.

Age categories & Effects

As you progress through your journey, time will inevitably move forward and you will naturally age, which will result in changes in your physical and mental states. Depending on your race, the impact of ageing may become more apparent at different stages. This guide will assist you in identifying the effects of ageing and the ways in which your character can evolve over the course of the game.

As you play the game, each action you take can bring you closer to your true alignment. With every step forward, you gain points that unlock new abilities and magical powers. Whether you choose to fight for good or embrace the darkness, your path is your own to define. It will guide you through the process of making these decisions and how they will affect the outcome of your game.

The following rule set defines how the Unbound system tracks and applies emotions on a mechanical level to your characters progression and game play.

Light & Darkness Rules

Your vision can be affected by your location or the time of day. There are six different levels of light, each having its own unique effects.
