You gain access to the Shaped Spell Upcasting effect. By increasing the Spellcasting DC and total Mana cost by 2, an AoE spell may choose a number of affected squares equal to your Rank Bonus in the school and choose to not affect those squares, instead moving those areas to a new location along the area of effect.
