Your character can be further personalized through the use of Traits, Flaws, and Traditions. Traits and flaws are minor boons or banes that can impact your character; while Traditions are major benefits that define a character and their skill set. You without Magic, does not possess a Magic tradition.
Traits and Flaws
By default, you receive two traits that match your theme and backstory for free upon creation. A single additional trait may be taken if you take a flaw, giving you a total of 3 traits and 1 flaw. It is possible to gain a final 4th trait with the Extra Trait Talent. All numerical bonuses and penalties provided by traits are considered trait bonuses and do not stack with each other unless otherwise stated.
